Cuddington U12...2

TWO shots against the woodwork, three cleared off the line and with most of the possession Tatton can consider themselves unlucky to leave Cuddington empty handed.

Despite this being their first game for a month they looked lively and whilst not playing the most attractive football they could not be criticised for lacking effort.

The mid-field quartet of Painter, Shore, Marriott and Antoniak worked hard to win the ball but on a narrow pitch found it difficult to spread the ball wide to the front runners of Beeson and Wood.

On the occasions it did reach them the Cuddington defence were all over them, allowing them little time to play the ball and killing the attack.

The strong Tatton back four of Davis, Agan, Jackson and Swinton kept the Cuddington attack at bay for most of the game allowing them only three clear shots at goal, two of which ended in the net with the third being stopped by an outstanding save from Spinola.

Man of the match for Tatton was George Agan.
