*I would like to extend seasonal greetings to everyone and I hope that the year to come will find the world a more peaceful place, but I'm not holding my breath.

* I think workers calling for an extra day off over the new year is absolute rubbish. I think it is just lazy people who don't want to work who are calling for the extra day off.

*In the new year we are going to see rail prices rising higher than inflation. It is ridiculous that we can now fly to the moon but we can't get our rail system on track.

* The TV over Christmas was awful. What would we do without the soaps but thank god there was no Noel Edmunds!

* The panto at The Royal Court is going really well. There is a very well behaved police dog who works with me on stage. One night on stage he was going absolutely mental and not behaving at all. I looked down into the audience to see one of my so called friends with a dog whistle!
