ANYONE trying to shed those extra pounds after the excess of Christmas should get down to the peace centre and join a sponsored slim to raise funds.
Slimmers should visit the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Young People's Centre in the week beginning January 8 to pick up a sponsorship form.
Two overall winners who shed the most weight will receive prizes catered to men or women and to suit different ages.
The slim takes place over seven weeks until the end of February and slimmers' weights will be kept confidential with just the pound loss being registered.
The trust has linked up with Sharon Maskell, of the Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Regime, for anyone who would like help along the way.
All of the staff at the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Trust are leading the way by taking part in the slim, including Colin Parry.
Carol Williams, who has co-ordinated the fund-raiser, will visit offices if people would like to take part in the slim as a group at work.
Slimmers should call Carol at the centre before they visit to pick up a form on 581232.
