THE 95 (Crewe) squadron Air Training Corps are hoping for a dry new year, especially inside headquarters!
A leaking roof at their base in Lodgefields Drive has caused them nothing but trouble over the last couple of months.
But thanks to a successful application to the borough council's Community Initiative Fund, hopefully the hole will be plugged soon enough.
Commanding officer Linda Morgan said: "We have two buildings that the cadets use, one is owned by the ATC, the other is owned by our group.
"The one owned by us and wholly maintained at our cost developed quite a bad leak in the roof but unfortunately we did not have sufficient funds to meet the cost."
The grants panel awarded the squadron £188 to assist repairs.
