KIND-HEARTED pupils from Cuddington Primary School helped a disabled youngster's Christmas wish come true.
The youngsters raised nearly £150 to help pay for a specialised machine so four-year-old Elizabeth Bailey could stand upright and walk.
Thanks to the Guardian their fund-raising efforts did not go unnoticed and inspired Winsford salt mine workers to fork out the lion's share to pay for the walker.
Elizabeth's mum Heather said: "Elizabeth has had some very bad luck but because of her illness she has met some wonderful people and we are so grateful for their help.
"She is learning to put pressure on her feet and the walker gives her a chance to move and be upright."
Elizabeth, who comes from Willington, suffers with epilepsy and a brain condition means she struggles to talk and feed herself.
But Heather added that the donation and on-going treatment at the Brain Injury and Rehabilitation Department in Broughton continues to give hope.
