NORTHWICH was blessed with two New Year babies from Weaverham and Castle.
Christian and Michelle Quiltey, of Owley Wood Road, Weaverham, became the proud parents of Joshua, who was born at 3.03am, on New Year's Day, at Leighton Hospital.
And their joy was shortly followed by that of Helen Davidson and John McAuley's, of Waterloo Road, Castle, when their second baby Caitlin Victoria was also born at the Crewe hospital at 9.21am.
Helen said: "Our baby was due on January 11, but I knew it would come early because a mum just knows these things.
"We already have Alexander who is three years-old and when he saw Caitlin Victoria he smothered her with kisses."
Caitlin Victoria weighed 5lb 13oz and Joshua weighed in at 8lb 7oz and both bouncing babies were allowed home with their mums on Tuesday, January 2.
A total of six New Year's Day babies were born at Leighton Hospital from across Winsford, Middlewich and Sandbach as well as Weaverham and Castle.
