ONE word sums up what the young stars of Nantwich Town have planned for Saturday - victory.
The Dabbers will settle for nothing else at Jackson Avenue, this Saturday as they entertain rock-bottom Leek CSOB.
Before Tuesday night's encounter with Salford, Nantwich boss Dave Cooke had his sights on an unbeaten start to 2001.
"We'll be happy with four points out of six in these next two games," he said.
It's a quick return with Leek after the Dabbers picked up a point on Boxing Day after the 1-1 stalemate at Harrision Park.
"I was glad of a point there after the highs of the Bedlington games and the festive season.
"I thought we edged it but I had no complaints over the result but we'll definitely be looking for three points on Saturday."
Cooke has swooped to bolster the midfield after re-signing the teenage duo of Danny Collins and Michael Owen from Newcastle Town.
Both figured in Nantwich's reserves last season and decided to make a return after finding opportunities limited at their North Staffs rivals.
"No, he's not from Liverpool!" joked Cooke. "We're not sure what difference they'll make but I'm happy to strengthen the squad."
Impressive young defender Steve Jardine was due to figure on Tuesday after returning from injury and should start on Saturday barring any reoccurance.
