WEAVERHAM Rangers RLFC were again left without a match on Saturday when their opponents cried off at the 11th hour after failing to raise a team.
Although Rangers gain two points for the statutory 18--0 victory, it is of little consolation to a side desperate to return to action in such a stop-start season.
Weaverham have to go back to their 28-4 victory over Blackpool on December 9 for their last game, so Saturday's opponents Parr Hare and Hounds will make up only Rangers' second game in five weeks.
Kick-off at Winnington is 2pm.
