HOME-GROWN boy band DNA's latest support tour has been left waiting on temperamental girl group All Saints to decide whether or not they are splitting up.

The trio two of whom hail from Warrington have been booked to support the girls on a 25-date tour.

But the multi-million selling Saints have since decided they might be calling it a day on their high-flying pop chart career which has left DNA's plans up in the air.

If the Saints do decide to split, they stand the chance of being sued over contractual obligations which is a faint light for DNA to focus on.

But all is not lost. If the tour does fall apart, DNA have the back-up offer of supporting ex-boy band big name Ronan Keating on his live dates.

DNA made up of Darren Beddard, Aaron Sowerby and Nick Reid have built up a solid live reputation, shaking off the well-worn image of boy bands miming to backing CDs by following in the footsteps of acts like All Saints and employing a live backing band. Their reputation has been further cemented by their last tour supporting Pete Waterman's mates Steps. The trio joined the mega chart stars for an arena tour which included a spot at Wembley. Now the group are looking to take their muse into the studio, with a little help from a former Drifter.

They have confirmed that they are due to collaborate with the singer from the '60s soul supergroup famed for Saturday Night at the Movies to cover a track for a compilation album. For more information about DNA, contact the fan club at PO Box 53, Wryll, LL18 2ZJ.
