First, the front page article on lack of discipline, then, inside, the comments of Stan Mendham, Richard Cussons and Sam Youd on the place of God and Christ in their lives.

By a strange coincidence, on the same day I came across this passage from the New Testament: 'Discipline, no doubt, is never pleasant; at the time it seems painful, but in the end it yields for those who have been trained by it the peaceful harvest of an honest life.'

There is much this 2,000-year-old book can teach us.
