In no circumstances would I like to condone vandalism.

However, Mr Oliver's 'plight' did not grieve me.

People of all walks of life have their cars vandalised every day, not just the rich.

I am appalled that his conscience allows him to own a £235,000 car. I find it absolutely shocking that he criticises other people's choice of school when clearly his school failed to educate him in the material value of money.

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt, and assume that he has worked all his life for this wealth, and that he gives generously to charities.

I still cannot fathom this sickening expenditure. A perfectly good car can be bought

on-the-road for a good deal less than £10,000, more than 20 times less than Mr Oliver's car.

I think Mr Oliver should re-evaluate his priorities in life.
