Elworth U12...1
DESPITE having the lion's share of the possession Tatton waited until the 24th minute to stamp their authority on the game.
By the half hour they had extended their lead to three with Nick Beeson scoring his second and Daniel Wood making it three.
Lewis Marriott also had a fierce goal-bound shot saved by the Elworth goalkeeper.
The firm pitch suited Tatton's natural passing game and almost from the kick-off they were in control from the mid-field.
Ben Antoniak played an influential role in the attacks and Douglas Shore hassled the Elworth mid-field.
A robust defensive performance by Tatton's back four of Ford, Agan, Swinton and Davies allowed them few chances and when the ball did stray into the 18-yard area it was soon despatched.
Within seven minutes of the start of the second-half Beeson had completed his hat trick with a fine individual run through the heart of the defence.
Had it not been for the Elworth goalkeeper making a number of outstanding saves the score could have easily gone into double figures.
However, Tatton had to settle for six with further goals from Wood and Sam Jackson.
Elworth scored a consolation goal in the final minutes.
Man-of-the-match was shared between Nick Beeson and Daniel Wood.
