Winnington U17...0
EGERTON underlined their championship credentials on Sunday by overwhelming Winnington 8-0.
Despite the high scoreline Egerton went in at the break only one up through a well-worked goal by Monday Bandele.
The floodgates opened after the break with Fraser Prest and Lee Edwards both scoring.
Egerton were awarded a penalty when Phil Berry went down and Ben Connett opened his account for the club from the spot.
Goals from Andy Taylor and a blockbuster from mid-field dynamo Nick Scott made the game safe.
Lively substitute Berry rounded it off when he scored two more.
Man of the match was hard working mid-fielder Johnathon Enston.
