WARRINGTON Wolves are welcoming all assistance from their fans in the race to save the club from crashing and in the bid to secure the new stadium.

Meetings are to be set up with the Warrington Supporters' Club and with one special fan in particular.

Mark Fearnley, who's empassioned Town Hall speech in August, won over planning councillors' backing for the stadium and superstore, is to be invited to share his thoughts and ideas with the club.

A public meeting, possibly at the Parr Hall, is being planned to give the campaign 'Say Yes To The Stadium' another kick-start.

Warrington Wolves chief Norman Summers said: "I really welcome fans' participation.

"I don't want this to be seen as a board members' thing or a shareholders' thing, it's a fan thing!"

But he adds a note for all to take on board.

"I can't stress enough how urgent everything is because the club is at risk. As far as the club is concerned everything is now urgent."

Mr Summers has promised that all fans will be kept up to date with the stadium bid through the GUARDIAN.
