HOSPITAL patient Lucy Blakeman showed off her prize-winning snowman, last week.
The four-year-old, from John Street, Biddulph, was treated at Macclesfield Hospital after breaking her arm.
Lucy was one of the young outpatients at the hospital's orthopaedic department who took part in a children's Christmas competition.
They were given a bow made from one of the modern alternatives to plaster of Paris, which can now be used in the treatment of fractures.
The dyna cast goes solid when treated, and the children were asked to create a decoration using the bow.
The makers of dyna cast gave £50 for the competition, and every child who took part received a small prize.
