ANOTHER knock-out night is in store at Nantwich Civic Hall as Crewe Boxing Club returns to action next Thursday.
After their first sell-out success in November, this show, featuring all the top amateurs of Joey Singleton's stable is expected to be even better.
In fact their last outing was so impressive it inspired the latest recruit.
Gary Blake worked on the security team during the last show and after seeing the action, wanted to get involved.
"He has previously been trained in martial arts, is physically fit and has taken to boxing very easily," said trainer Joey Singleton.
A middleweight, Blake has been sparring with Simon Gidman and Ian Clyde and has made such progress that he is set for his debut next week.
Craig Lawton's twin, Russell, has shown all the skill, strength and stamina of his brother and is also ready for his first bout.
Geoff 'Bud' Wright (pictured), Simon Gidman, Mike Thomas and Richard Daly are all in full training and looking forward to the chance to display their skills in front of home supporters.
"Ticket sales have been going well and we're expecting another full house," said Joey.
"We've got 18 bouts booked at the moment including a Super-heavyweight contest which should go down well with the crowd."
