CREWE'S favourite chart act, Dario G, is at it again with their new single being tipped to enter the top ten.
The group, above right, has just signed a six album deal with Mercury Records and the single, Dream To Me is the first release from the forthcoming second album.
The song, which features a vocal line from the Cranberries' 1994 song Dreams, is already on the play list for Radio 1 and a big hit in the clubs.
Dario G, which is made up of Ex-Crewe and now Sandbach resident, Paul Spencer and Ingfrid Straumstoyl, hit the music scene in 1997 when their club hit Sunchyme reached number two in the charts.
Dario G fans in the borough were flocking to buy the single on Monday 22 this week when the single was released but the GUARDIAN has five SIGNED copies of the Dream To Me CD single, supplied by Paul himself, to give away and the first winner out of the hat will also win a signed picture of the duo.
If you would like to win just answer the following question: Where did Paul Spencer and co get the name Dario G from?
Send your answers along with your address and daytime telephone number to Dario G Comp, The Crewe Guardian, 2 High Street, Crewe, CW2 7BN or you can e-mail us your answers on crewe@guardiangrp.co.uk addressed to the Dario G Comp.
The deadline for entries is Monday, February 12, and the winner will be picked and announced in the GUARDIAN on February 15.
