FIVE A-Level students from Sir John Deane's have got the new year off to a flying start after receiving university offers from Oxbridge.
They are:
Former St Nicholas High School pupil Kathryn Carrick, of Landswood Park, Hartford, who has an offer to read history at St John's College, Cambridge.
Aled Patchett, of Hadrian Way, Sandiway, who previously attended Weaverham High School, and has been offered a place at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, to study engineering.
Tom Wilson, a former Knutsford High School pupil, of Glebelands Road, Knutsford, has an offer to read chemistry at Corpus College, Oxford.
Paul Cadman, of Kingston Close, Runcorn, has an offer to read maths at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge.
Former Hartford High School pupil Helen Stevens, of The Crescent, Northwich, has an offer to study geography at St Edmund Hall College, Oxford.
