POSTAL delivery staff in Warrington returned to work on Tuesday after a day's strike action.

Just 13 people were working on Monday which meant that only special delivery parcels were distributed.

But Royal Mail say it should only take a few days for the service to return to normal and delayed post should be going through people's letter boxes this morning.

Forty staff and 200 delivery men and women began unofficial action in support of the centre in Crewe who were having to deal with all the mail from Liverpool after their strike action. Both disputes were settled with separate agreements.
