SIGNIFICANT sponsorship support from Carlsberg-Tetley is a welcome boost to the Wolves as they await a public inquiry decision on their joint stadium and superstore plan with Tesco and landowners Carlsberg-Tetley.
But the sponsorship does not solve all of the club's financial worries and therefore fresh and continued backing from businesses, fans and the Warrington public in general is required to keep the club ticking over until they are given the green light on their new £12m 12,000-15,000 capacity stadium.
Gareth Roberts, sponsorship manager for Carlsberg-Tetley, would welcome other businesses getting behind the Wolves.
He said: "I've been involved with the club and the team for some time.
"They are very progressive in marketing, they've got a lot of plans for the future.
"We will be working closely with the club as they progress to the new stadium.
"We see the benefit of being associated with the top team in Warrington and I think this particular region would benefit from key sponsors coming in and supporting the club.
