DOUBLE world champion Warren Brown has a prestige fight on February 4 in a busy year ahead.
Brown, who will hand over his Warrington Sports Personality crown to the 2000 winner tomorrow, Friday, will be squaring up to London's Keiron Keddle at Deeside Leisure Centre next month.
He has a fight pencilled in for Liverpool against an overseas opponent in March and in April he is hoping to be fighting on home soil, at the Parr Hall.
Brown said: "Dave Jackson, the coach of my former club in Warrington, is keen for me to fight on his show at the Parr Hall and he is speaking to my coach Pele Nathan to see if it can be set up.
"It would be great if it can be. I would like to fight in my home town and specially as many of my fans are from Warrington."
But, before that, light welterweight Brown has to concentrate on ending Keddle's spouting off.
Keddle has been using Brown 'put-downs'.
Brown said: "He was due to fight someone else but that fell through and then he said there was only one of two fighters he wanted to face, one of them was me.
"So we have a challenge fight, with neither of my world titles up for grabs, but I am looking forward to the challenge."
Brown said he has been training hard and is fully fit after recovering from a toe injury he sustained while fighting a Dutch opponent in Frodsham last year.
