TEENAGER Judith Bamford and her friends will be donning fancy dress for an annual sponsored walk.
Judith, aged 14, comes from Fountain Court, Biddulph, and is a pupil at Eaton Bank School in Congleton.
She takes part in the annual walk at Trentham Gardens in aid of Christian Aid, which this year takes place on March 31.
The event is organised by Judith's dad John, from the North Staffordshire Christian Aid Committee, and 600 walkers raised more than £29,000 last year.
"Cash donations have already been received, which will cover all the costs involved in organising the event," said Mr Bamford.
"This means that every penny of people's money will go directly to Christian Aid."
The route takes walkers around Trentham Lake, a distance of 2.5 miles, and the event is due to start at 10am.
