MANAGER of Middlewich Town, Dave Twite, is hoping to sign midfielder Keith Lampkin from Droylesden.
The manager was extremley disappointed with his side's 3-1 defeat at the hands of Grove Utd at Half Moon Lane, last Saturday.
Middlewich missed a host of chances and Twite sees Lampkin, the 24-year-old former Leigh RMI player as the ideal person to bolster up his midfield.
Dave said: "I shall be speaking to Keith in the very near future.
"He is a good strong tackler with a lot of strength. He can pass the ball around and can also win the ball in midfield."
Middlewich are currently lying second in Mid Cheshire League Division One although they have played more games than anyone else.
Their next game is on Saturday March 10 against Whitchurch kick-off 3pm and on Wednesday March 14 away to Trafford reserves, kick-off 7.45pm.
