MURDER, mystery and intrigue are on offer as Agatha Christie comes to Crewe Lyceum.
Featuring an array of TV stars 'A Murder is Announced' is a Miss Marple mystery and is showing for a week commencing Monday, March 19.
Last of the Summer Wine Star, Juliette Kaplin, appears as top sleuth, Miss Marple while Hi-De-Hi's Ruth Madoc also stars.
Former Eastenders duo Leila Birch and Andrew Lynford, who played Teresa Di Marco and Simon Raymond also headline in the play.
Lyceum favourite Geoffrey Davies also stars as Inspector Craddock.
The play is being produced by Ian Dickens Productions, a company with an enviable reputation for producing Christie classics.
Ian Dickens is directing the play which is set in traditional Christie England.
The story follows the murder of a stranger in a local cottage which was announced in the local newspaper.
What follows is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, and twist and turns galore.
Tickets are on sale now and can be bought from the Lyceum Box Office on 537333.
They are priced between £8.50 and £13.50 for the evening showings and between £5.50 and £7.50 for the Saturday Matinee. A buy one get one free offer is available on Monday.
