A NEW and improved bus service was launched in Crewe last week.
The number six service includes seven new Arriva buses featuring low accessible floors and a revised timetable.
The service is to run between Leighton Hospital, Crewe Centre, Brookfield and Shavington and new bus stops have also been installed on the route.
The new stops include higher kerbs, clearer markings, better timetable displays and shelters.
The service was the creation of joint working between the borough and county councils.
The service is intended to run every 15 minutes to Brookhouse and Leighton and every 30 minutes to Shavington.
