ARRANGEMENTS have been made for charity collections in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The Daffodil Day collections are to be held in supermarkets and in the town centre streets of Crewe and Nantwich.
These include collections in Crewe's Safeway between today, Thursday, March 8, and Sunday, March 11, and in Crewe's Morrisons and in Nantwich's Sainbury's store between today and Saturday, March 10.
The street collections are to take place in Nantwich on Thursday, March 15, and in Crewe on Saturday, March 17.
Group president Ray Stafford asked for people's support: "Anyone who is willing and able to collect at any of the events would be made very welcome.
"The monies raised would be used to find the Marie Curie Nursing Service locally which offers practical nursing care to people seriously ill with cancer," he added.
Anyone interested in helping out or donating can contact Cllr Stafford on 583847.
