THE name's Bond, James Bond, will be a phrase ringing around Crewe Hall this summer as people get the chance to be a spy for the night.

Crewe-based charity Climb is holding a James Bond evening to help raise funds for its work helping people who suffer from rare metabolic diseases.

The charity is also seeking corporate sponsorship for the 007 bonanza which is to be held at Crewe Hall.

The event will feature a Thunderball Disco, the Goldfinger Auction and the Live and Let Die Racetrack.

Diners will also be treated to the Casino Royale, an array of good food and of course the obligitory vodka martini, shaken not stirred!

The evening takes place on Friday, July 6, beginning at 7.30pm and runs until 1am with tickets priced at £48 per person inclusive with £450 for a table of ten.

Climb is the largest centre for information on metabolic diseases in the country with over 1,500 people nationwide benefiting from the charity's services and 400 north west families among these users.

The charity, which was set up in 1981 at Crewe Hall, often finds it hard to attract funding and so they are looking for corporate sponsorship from companies in the area.

The charity is offering two free tickets for the Bond Ball to any company which sponsors the event and the company will also be featured in the programme of events.

For more information about the corporate sponsorship or for a reservation form contact Olly Braithwaite at Climb on 0870 7700325.

Climb offers much needed counselling and financial support for research into metabolic diseases and is a source of information for doctors nationwide. It has several famous supporters including president, Phil Collins.
