YOUNGSTERS at Penketh Primary School have proved they have the 'write' stuff when it comes to journalism by showing off their talents in the Guardian's Newspapers in Education scheme.
The pupils have been taking a look into what makes up a newspaper, creating their own advertisements, weather columns and what's on guides. They have also been studying stories in real newspapers where the animal stories have proved particularly popular!
The next step in their course is to create their very own newspaper, which they will be doing tomorrow, Friday, with Newspapers in Education co-ordinator John East, who carries out special workshops on behalf of the Guardian.
