STAFF at St Rocco's are bidding a fond farewell to two of its long serving trustees.
David Littlewood and Roger Morey have retired after serving as volunteers at the hospice as well as trustees for nine years.
David, headteacher at St Barnabus Primary School, worked as a volunteer in the inpatient unit, talking to and spending time with patients and their relatives.
Roger works for Pilkington and was handyman at the hospice and in charge of maintenance as well as a member of the estates committee.
The trustees meet weekly, agreeing policies and look after the day-to-day running of the hospice.
The hospice also said goodbye to Dr Trevor Goodwin and Dr Robin Tate this month, also both retiring trustees.
