FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at outbuildings in Sutton Lane, Middlewich last Wednesday.
Leading Firefighter Bob Millington, of Winsford Fire Brigade, said the fire started in a coal shed before spreading to another nearby building causing minor structural damage.
"We are not totally sure how it could have started, but it was possibly warm ashes thrown into the coalshed, there was certainly nothing malicious," he added.
The brigade received the call at around 4.25pm and it took crews from Winsford and Holmes Chapel around 20 minutes to put the fire out.
