LUKE Rogers was Northwich Amateur Swimming Club's only medal winner in the latest Cheshire County Championship rounds on Saturday.
The 11-year-old took the bronze, but missed silver by just two-tenths of a second in the 50m breaststroke.
Katie Burrows finished fifth in the 11 years 50m freestyle, while 15-year-old Lisa Atkinson showed speed and stamina in equal measure to qualify for four finals. She came sixth in both the open and 15 years 100m freestyle, and seventh and eighth in the two 50m finals.
Hannah Evans had two creditable sixth positions in both the 10m freestyle and 200m individual medley.
Rachael Law was first reserve for the 14 years 50m freestyle and 12-year-old James Sissons was also selected as first reserve for the 50m breaststroke final. All the finalists won county swim caps.
Northwich swimmers clocked 13 personal best times. There were one each for Edward Ford, Gareth Clwyd Jones and James Sissons, two each for Lisa Atkinson, Roy Pearce, Louise Bird, Rachael Law, and Katie Burrows.
