Representatives from the Ministry of Defence, the Army medical corps and the Royal British Legion are expected to pay tribute to Major Ian Hill.
A Union Flag and bugler have also been arranged for the funeral at St Peter's Church in Hale at 2pm on Monday.
Major Hill, a 54-year-old father-of four, died at his home in Woodlands Drive, Knutsford, last week.
He had worked tirelessly for fellow victims of Gulf War Syndrome.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned into his death, which Major Hill's widow, Carole, had requested to help discover the truth about the disease.
