COCKHEDGE Shopping Park, in conjunction with the Warrington Guardian, is undertaking an Easter Egg appeal on behalf of the National Children's Home.

The appeal is being held to support one of NCH's many charities - the Warrington Butterfly project - which provides practical and emotional support for children with life-threatening conditions and their families.

Buying and donating an extra chocolate egg this Easter will help this valuable project. All donations should be delivered to the NCH shop in Cockhedge Shopping Park to help the staff "fill the window."

Activities supporting the campaign include a children's Easter garden, Good Friday egg decorating competition, a talent show run by ASDA and the chance to win a wheelbarrow full of chocolate eggs sponsored by Cadbury.

Taking part in the Easter activities means you could be making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children, young people and their families.

NCH, working in partnership with various organisations, runs more than 430 projects nationwide. It also supports families in need and children who need caring, foster or adoptive parents. No fewer than 5,000 children benefit from the charity's 42 projects across the north west.

Keep checking the Guardian for details of appeal events or pick up a leaflet in Cockhedge Shopping Park, available early next month.
