CAMPAIGNERS fighting against development in Lymm village have produced pictures of the shape of things to come if housing giants David Wilson homes win their appeal.
An application to build 92 two and two and a half storey homes at a site off Bucklow Gardens was thrown out after a massive show of people power persuaded planning bosses to vote against the scheme.
Developers appealed against the decision and a public inquiry is expected to open later this year, but, in the meantime, campaigner Andrew Wilson wants people to see how the site would look if the scheme was given the go ahead.
He has superimposed picture of the homes on Cherry Lane onto the site at Bucklow Gardens to show what three and two and a half storey homes would look like.
And he is also arranging a meeting with protest groups in Stockton Heath, Thelwall and Appleton who are fighting other developments to arrange a mass rally in the town centre to unite South Warrington and show the strength of their feelings.
The meeting takes place at Oughtrington community centre on Monday March 26 at 7.30pm.
