THE old Fairclough Mill which went up in flames last December set on fire again last weekend as it was being demolished.
Workers were burning rubble from the Liverpool Road building when the fire broke out on Friday afternoon.
Crews from Warrington attended the blaze, which smouldered from Friday until Monday.
It took more than 200 firefighters to control the original fire at the end of last year, which saw windows blown out by acetylene cylinders which were left inside. The building was completely gutted.
