THE Hit Man and Her, the televised dance night that put Mr Smiths' on the map, is making a comeback on the small screen - but only for the weekend.
Dancers who performed at the famous nightclub in Warrington have been interviewed for a segment of the BBC2 retrospective series I Love the 1980s which will be screened this Saturday, at 9pm.
Hosted by Michaela Strachan and Pete Waterman, the show followed the course of a Saturday night at the club as people danced, drank and got merry.
One-time megastars like Jason Orange from Take That danced in the club before becoming giants of the pop charts.
Another of the show's star dancers - Wiggy - has been interviewed for the show.
Also known as Clive Donaldson, the 37-year-old was famed for the wig he wore while he danced. He now hosts dance rehearsals at the nightclub on Tuesday nights between 9pm and 11pm.
