A SCHEME aiming to cut the amount of road traffic incidents involving motorcyclists will take place in Crewe, this summer.
Cheshire Constabulary has decided to run its highly acclaimed Bikesafe course over a three day period in June.
"Last year, many motorists took advantage of the schemes and were full of praise for the content of the course and the instruction given," said a spokesperson.
"We look forward again this year to the chance of involving many more and making their motorcycling both enjoyable and safe."
The course is made up of three parts, the first two involving basic motorcycle road craft and their general roadworthiness, must be completed before attempting the third, an opportunity to go out on the road with an experienced police motorcyclist.
Parts one and two, take place on Thursday, June 21, and Friday, June 22,, from 7pm till 10pm at Cheshire Constabulary's Training School on Nantwich Road.
Part Three is on Saturday, June 23, departing from Crewe Motorcycles, on Mill Street, at a time to be allocated.
It costs £20 per person with participants presented with a certificate on completion.
