CHURCH leaders in Sandbach have issued a big thank you to residents for their support throughout last year.
Churches Together in Sandbach held an array of events last year under the Jesus 2000 banner and as a result raised £1,500 for charities.
The group recently held its AGM which was well attended and plans are now underway for the coming year's programme of events.
Pat Riley, newly elected chair for the group, said: "Following the hard work and success of Jesus 2000, the impetus gained should be used to serve the community this year."
To kick off events the Good Friday Walk of Witness from Sandbach Crosses and the New Dawn Service, again at Sandbach Crosses, are both expected to draw big crowds.
Details can be found in each of the member Churches.
