DIVISION Two of the Warrington Snooker League seems to be a one horse race with Irish Club leading by 17 points after they beat St Josephs A 6-1.
The two teams sharing second place both lost. Alliance went down 4-3 at home to GESM B and Stockton Heath A lost by the same score at St Josephs B.
Division Three leaders Penketh Legion B inflicted a first home defeat on Touchers A winning 4-3 but their lead is now down to three points after Snookers B won 5-2 at British Rail A.
Alford B stayed third after beating Touchers B 5-2 and they still have two games in hand on the teams above them.
Irlam Cons are eleven points clear in Division One after winning 5-2 at Woolston B but Walkers B lost ground after they lost for only the third time this season, 4-3 at Rialto, but they have two games in hand on the leaders.
