Bank Quay Bulls...38
Thatto Heath...12
BANK Quay made it nine wins in a row and moved within two points of the league leaders with two games in hand in their bid for promotion.
The Bulls, with five regulars out, professionally disposed of a useful Thatto side. But still with a large squad to select from coaches Richard Ross and Dougie Heaton utilised their new squad rotation system.
The Bulls' improved discipline has allowed their rugby to do the talking and another seven tries in this game made them the North West Counties League's highest points-scorers.
Matty Orgill and Pete Hayes had great games and other top performers for Quay were Paul Byrnes and Ste Pucill.
Topping the tackle count were Danny woods and captain for the day Ste Withnall.
Tries were scored by Mike Spencer, three, Alan Spencer, Paul Byrnes, Ste Arnold and Hayes.
The goalkicking duties were shared between Orgill and Phil Byrnes.
