THE longest-running curtain raiser in Rugby League celebrates the start of its 25th competition on Sunday before Warrington's game at Wilderspool with four teams in action.
The primary schools rugby tournament was started in 1977 and gets its name from the late Ken Miller, then a director of Warrington RLFC. Mike Wainwright and John Thursfield are products of the tournament.
The knockout competition starts at 1.45pm and has a record number of teams entered with 22, including first-time entrants Statham, St. Oswalds, Gorse Covert and St. Philips.
