FOOTSORE fundraisers have boosted St Rocco's funds after a week long series of events culminating in the St Patrick's Day Parade.
The ninth annual peace walk raised money for charities in Ireland and across Warrington and this year the team aimed to raise £2000 for the hospice alone.
At the last count the total had almost reached its target and organisers hope to make the amount up to £2000.
The events got off to a good start with a race night at the Alliance club on Norman Street. Other events included a charity raffle at the King's Head, a casino night at the Lord Rodney, a darts fun night and a pool tournament with World Lady's Champion Sue Thompson.
