A NANTWICH councillor is angry after the cancellation of a bus service to Crewe from a local estate.
Residents on the Millfields estate, off Welsh Row used to enjoy early morning buses directly into Crewe.
However, these have now been stopped and early morning shoppers have no service until 10.30am at which time they can only catch a bus to Nantwich Bus Station and then change to get to Crewe.
Nantwich town and borough councillor Arthur Moran has been in contact with various bus companies to try and resolve the situation but as of yet has received little response.
Cllr Moran feels the half hourly service was invaluable to the early morning shoppers who lived on the estate and say they have been robbed of a vital service
