POLICE drivers in Warrington and Cheshire will now be required to undergo a compulsory reassessment of their driving skills every three years.
The new measures have been introduced by Cheshire police in an effort to reduce traffic collisions involving police vehicles.
Any driver who fails the assessment will be retrained under the stringent new codes of practice on vehicle pursuit.
