A STAINED glass panel was unveiled at Greenbank Residential School on Friday, to commemorate the Cheshire Millennium Pilgrimage.
The pilgrimage took place last July and saw teachers, parents and children from Whitegate School walk along the banks of the River Weaver to Greenbank.
When they arrived at Greenbank there was a joint service with both schools joining together for lunch and to play games. The aim of the pilgrimage was to join communities together and the stained glass window continues this theme.
Artist Carol Sweet constructed the panel showing the walk. The schools received a grant of £600 from the Millennium Commission and sponsorship of £200 from Northwich Glass to create the panel which has been installed in the entrance hall at Greenbank.
