BRITNEY and Billie better be watching their backs because Warrington has a new pop queen who looks set to steal their crowns.
Juliana Hoy has been plucked from more than 100 hopefuls to storm the charts.
She was picked by Solution Productions - a company run by Warrington Collegiate students.
The 23-year-old from Lymm saw her opportunity to take her singing career one step further after the company told of its star search in the pages of the Guardian.
She said: "I couldn't believe it when they chose me. The competition was fierce but friendly amongst the girls and I can't wait to get started. It's a dream come true."
Originally from Glasgow, Juliana came close to stardom before through the BBC Pop Pickers, when she won a place in the final six.
She received more than 60,000 votes from viewers all over the country in just 10 minutes.
Since then she has worked with respected producers and sung at shows throughout the country.
And now Solutions Productions aims to make her the next chart-topping superstar.
The company spotted the gorgeous starlet during a fortnight of auditions - and is delighted with the find.
Benjie Smith, marketing manager, said: "Juliana is a wonderfully talented young woman who has all the necessary attributes to make it to the top of the charts."
Juliana will be performing at a showcase in London in May and will embark on a tour of local schools in the near future.
