WARRINGTON Collegiate Institute has become one of the first UK Online centres in England.
It is the first college in Warrington to join in the Government's latest initiative aimed at opening up access to information technology resources.
As a UK Online Centre, the college is providing free access to the internet for those who have little or no computer experience.
Dedicated computers are available at all three collegiate campuses Winwick Road, Padgate and Museum Street for those interested in discovering computer technology.
Mike White, IT manager, said: "Many people are interested in finding out more about the internet but are either afraid to have a go or unable to gain access to a computer.
"Now they have the chance to access computers at no extra cost."
Anyone interested in finding our more can call the college on 494494.
