CHILDREN recently celebrating the imminent opening of a new out of school club.
The club is due to open after Easter at Blackfirs Primary School in Congleton thanks to a £21,000 lottery grant.
It will be based in a mobile classroom alongside the school, and will provide much-needed help for working parents.
"The grant has enabled us to buy the equipment necessary so children can enjoy leisure and recreational activities while their parents work or study," said club co-ordinator Rosemary Cook.
The club will be run by teaching assistant Judith Evans, for details ring Mrs Cook on 272935.
