POLICE have renewed their appeal for witnesses to an attack which took place in Sankey Valley Park more than three weeks ago.
A 21-year-old man was left needing stitches to his face after he was jumped as he walked from Lovely Lane in Bewsey into the park between midnight and 2am on Saturday March 3.
Two men demanded he hand over his gold bracelet and attacked him when he refused then snatched his bracelet and cash.
The first man is aged 20 to 30, 5ft 9ins and of proportionate build.
He has short, dark hair and a moustache and a local accent.
He was wearing dark Adidas track suit bottoms and a grey sweatshirt.
The other man is the same age, 5ft 10in, of proportionate build and was wearing dark clothing.
