A WARRINGTON DJ is appealing to people in the town to help him find his mixing equipment.
Bernie O'Brien, who DJs at the monthly soul night at Rylands Recreation Club, had his mixing decks stolen from his house in Appleton three weeks ago.
"I'm just devastated," he said. "I have got friends who have supported me and have let me borrow their equipment, but I just want mine back."
The items stolen include an Electrovision double CD player and control unit, worth £400, a Gemini DS700 stereo pre amp mixed, serial number F8200750, worth £289, and two black flight cases worth £69.
Det Con Paul Rees from Warrington CID who is investigating the theft explained that all the items are specialist equipment for the DJ trade.
He said: "If anyone has seen it or heard of the equipment being sold on at a ridiculous price we would like them to contact us."
Anyone with information can call DC Rees on 01244 613867.
